ServisFirst Bank Expands Into Healthcare Banking

Veteran Healthcare Banker to Lead Strategy

Nashville, TN -

ServisFirst Bank announces expansion into healthcare banking, to be led by veteran healthcare banker, Bill Berrell, Director of Healthcare Banking out of the Nashville office.

As Director of Healthcare Banking, Berrell will be responsible for the development of the ServisFirst Bank healthcare portfolio, along with driving marketing and segmentation strategy. Overall, Berrell will focus on multi-site and multi-state healthcare providers with headquarters in the Southeast, including for- profit and not-for-profit hospitals, medical office buildings, healthcare REITs, large physician practices, nursing home facilities along with other senior health operators, healthcare IT and billing companies, as well as payors.

Bill Berrell joins ServisFirst Bank as Director of Healthcare Banking, most recently serving as Vice President and Team Leader for Healthcare and Public Funds Banking Group. With over 20 years of banking experience, Berrell will focus on Healthcare Banking in Nashville and throughout the Southeast. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Commerce and Business Administration with a focus in corporate finance and investment management and a Master of Arts in Finance, both from the University of Alabama.
