February 03, 2015 ServisFirst Bank Expands Commercial Banking ActivityAnnounces Commercial Banker for East Tennessee Nashville, TN –ServisFirst Bank Tennessee expands their Commercial Banking activity to East Tennessee with the addition of James A. “Jim” Gardner as Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking. Mr. Gardner will focus on generating new commercial banking relationships for the Knoxville, Tri-Cities, and Chattanooga areas of the state. “Jim brings to ServisFirst almost three decades of executive experience in the East Tennessee market, fifteen of those years as a Commercial Banker. James A. “Jim” Gardner, Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking With over 30 years of banking and management experience, Jim Gardner joins ServisFirst Bank Tennessee as Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking. Previously serving as Chief Financial Officer of Rocky Top Markets and as Commercial Relationship Manager for both Green County Bancshares and First Tennessee Bank, Gardner will be responsible for developing new commercial banking relationships in the Knoxville, Tri-Cities, and Chattanooga areas. Gardner received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Cumberland College, Williamsburg, KY. He is a graduate of the National Commercial Lending School in Norman, OK and the Graduate School of Banking in Boulder, CO. Gardner previously served as the Membership Chairman on the Board of Directors for the Oak Ridge Country Club and United Way of Anderson County, as well as the Board of Directors for the Boys Club of Oak Ridge. He is also a registered basketball official for the Tennessee Secondary School Athletics Association (TSSAA).
