ServisFirst Bank Announces New Vice President

Robert Frederick joins Top-Ranked Regional Bank as Vice President, Commercial Banking Officer

ServisFirst Bank, a subsidiary of ServisFirst Bancshares, Inc. (NASDAQ: SFBS), recently announced the new hire of Robert Frederick to Vice President, Commercial Banking Officer of ServisFirst Bank Tampa.

With more than a decade of banking experience, Robert Frederick came to ServisFirst Bank in December 2018 as a leader in relationship management, focused on commercial and small business banking. In this new position, he will be responsible for developing new business in St. Petersburg through community involvement and a consultative approach, helping business owners work and plan for their future.

Previously a Senior Vice President, Commercial Lender at Bank OZK, Frederick was responsible for commercial clients with a wide variety of borrowing needs. Prior to this role, he was with SunTrust Bank, as Vice President, Business Banking Relationship Manager in the St. Petersburg/Tampa market.

Frederick has completed trainings from Moody’s Analytics and The Risk Management Association (RMA) in: Analyzing Personal Financial Statements and Tax Returns, Analyzing Business Tax Returns, and Commercial Credit for Lenders, along with Omega Performance Training.

Robert Frederick is a fourth generation St. Petersburg local. He is currently a member of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce working with the Sustainability Committee to promote best practices for a healthy community. Frederick is also a member of The Rotary Club of St. Petersburg Sunrise - Rotary District 6950, which supports other local nonprofits such as, St. Petersburg Free Clinic, Rotary Interact Youth Club and Rotary S4TL Student Leadership Summer Camp. Frederick supports the Pinellas County Sheriff's Police Athletic League and the St. Petersburg Downtown Partnership.
