Harrison Morris named Dothan CEO & Steve McCarroll elected to Board of Directors

Dothan, AL -

Ronald DeVane, Chairman of the Board of Directors for ServisFirst Bank Dothan, announces Harrison Morris as CEO of ServisFirst Bank Dothan and Steve McCarroll to the Board of Directors. Serving with the bank since inception of the Dothan region in 2008, Morris will transition from President to CEO & President of ServisFirst Bank Dothan providing leadership to the already successful team of bankers and valued clients. Additionally, McCarroll’s experience within the banking industry will further strengthen the bank’s commitment to providing quality banking services to clients throughout the Dothan area. McCarroll, who brings over 33 years of experience in the banking industry, most recently serving as President of Compass Bank in Dothan, where he retired in 2013.

With over 17 years of banking experience, Harrison Morris is named CEO & President of ServisFirst Bank Dothan. In 2008, Morris joined ServisFirst Bank Dothan’s leadership team, growing the region to over $400 million in total assets. Prior to ServisFirst Bank, Morris served in various leadership roles with banks throughout Alabama, including Senior Community Banker for Wachovia Bank in Montgomery and Market President of Wachovia’s operation in Dothan. Morris received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Mississippi. Morris serves as a Trustee and Chair-Elect for the Wallace Community College Foundation, as well as Trustee for Houston Academy and the Dothan Houston County Library System. He also serves as Treasurer for the Dothan Convention and Visitors Bureau, as well as Past Board Chair and 2014 Campaign Chair for Wiregrass United Way.

Steve McCarroll, ServisFirst Bank Dothan Board of Directors

With over 33 years of banking experience, Steve McCarroll joins ServisFirst Bank Dothan’s Board of Directors. In 2013, McCarroll retired from Compass Bank, where he served as President for 22 years. Prior to his time with Compass Bank, McCarroll served in leadership roles at various banking institutions, including C&S Bank in Atlanta, GA and Central Bank in Birmingham, AL. An active member of the community, McCarroll serves as a Past Chairman for the Dothan Chamber of Commerce, Trustee for the Wiregrass Foundation, Board of Stewards at First United Methodist Church, Board Member and Past President for Dothan Country Club and former Trustee for Houston Academy. McCarroll received his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill and his Masters in Business Administration from Georgia State University.
