ServisFirst Bank Announces New Headquarters

Birmingham, AL -

ServisFirst Bank, a subsidiary of ServisFirst Bancshares (NASDAQ: SFBS), announces its plans to relocate its Corporate Headquarters to Homewood, Alabama. The new location, on Woodcrest Drive, is expected to open in early 2018.

The 100,000 square-foot, four-story building will be designed by the architectural firm of Giattina Aycock Architecture Studio and B.L. Harbert International serving as the general contractor. The new headquarters will be solely owner occupied.

Tom Broughton, President & CEO, said “ServisFirst Bank appreciates the State of Alabama, the City of Homewood, and the Birmingham Water Works Board for their cooperation in making the new building economically feasible. Constructing a new headquarters that will serve our needs for ten years would not be possible without assistance from these partners.” Broughton further stated, “No decision has been made on housing the Bank’s operations center within the building, but the building design will accommodate an operations center.” Currently 140 employees work at the headquarters location. ServisFirst Bank has plans to add an additional fifty employees before the move in early 2018. The new headquarters location provides the Bank with the ability to continue to grow, as it can hold up to 440 employees.

Bank customers will enjoy the same commitment to service they have come to know at all ServisFirst Bank locations. This new headquarters allows ServisFirst Bank customers to have expanded access to the top tier of commercial banking, correspondent banking, cash management, private banking and the professional consumer market services.
