ServisFirst Bank Mobile Vice President Named Associate Director for the Alabama Banking School

Sherry Coker to Serve Two Year Term

ServisFirst Bank, a subsidiary of ServisFirst Bancshares (NASDAQ:SFBS), is proud to share that ServisFirst Bank Mobile Vice President, Private Banking Officer Sherry Coker has been selected as Associate Director for the Alabama Banking School (ABS).

Coker will begin her two-year term as Associate Director at the start of the new year. She attended the continuing education program provided by ABS from 2012-2014, served the following three years as a Class Director, and then as a Board member in 2019 and 2020. Organized in 1975 and sponsored by the Alabama Bankers Association, ABS provides a planned environment for the study of banking tailored to the needs of Alabama banks.

Sherry majored in Communications and Marketing at East Tennessee State University. In 2015, she was recognized as one of the Rising Stars of Alabama Banking. In addition to her involvement with the Alabama Banking School, Coker is a board member/treasurer for Ozanam Charitable Pharmacy. She is a vibrant supporter of the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce. Coker served as fundraising chairman for the 2018 and 2019 Focus Women’s Conference and on the board for the Survivors of Mental Illness Club. In 2018, she successfully obtained funding and completed a Therapeutic Garden Project for Safe Haven Group home for the mentally ill of Mobile.
