December 17, 2020 ServisFirst Bank Tampa Bay President Elected as President of the Board for Local NonprofitGwynn Davey to Serve Two Year Term for Voices for Children of Tampa Bay Tampa, FL -ServisFirst Bank, a subsidiary of ServisFirst Bancshares (NASDAQ:SFBS), is proud to share that ServisFirst Bank Tampa Bay President Gwynn Davey has been elected as President of the Board for Voices for Children of Tampa Bay. Davey has served on the Voices for Children (VFC) board for the past year and a half and will begin her two-year term at the start of the new year. Voices for Children’s mission is to provide support and advocacy for the abused, neglected and abandoned children in the Tampa Bay community. For over 30 years, VFC has chosen to pursue this mission by partnering with the Guardian ad Litem Program (GAL) of Hillsborough County. Voices for Children supports children as they navigate through the court system and foster care. VFC provides assistance with children’s needs including school uniforms, shoes, undergarments and socks, summer camps, school supplies, tutoring services, school field trips, toys for birthdays and other occasions, high school yearbooks and dances, after school activities, infant needs including strollers and playpens. They also support GAL staff attorneys to ensure the best possible outcome for each child. VFC supports Florida’s first courthouse facility dog program where dogs help calm and empower children. Gwynn Davey, President – Tampa Bay Region With over 32 years of banking and financial experience, Gwynn Davey joined ServisFirst Bank Tampa Bay Region as President in 2016. In her current role, Davey oversees the bank’s commercial lending and cash management activities. Previously, Davey served as the Market President of Hillsborough County for Bay Cities Bank in Tampa, Florida from 2013 until its sale in 2015. Davey also previously served the Tampa Bay community for Bay Cities Bank, rising from Vice President of Commercial Lending to Senior Lender and ultimately to her position as Market President. Before joining Bay Cities, she spent time with SouthTrust Bank of Tampa, Florida and with various financial institutions in Rochester and New York City, New York. Davey has served as committee chair for the Tampa Chamber Small Business of the Year Award. She is also a past President of the Rotary Club of Tampa and the Commercial Real Estate Women of Tampa Bay. She has held various committee and Board positions for not-for-profit entities including Teaching Tools for Hillsborough Schools and Kids Charity Tampa Bay. She was a 2017 Businesswoman of the Year finalist and is currently the chair for The Florida Bankers Association Women in Leadership 2021 conference. Davey is a cum laude graduate of Siena College having obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Upon graduating from Siena College, Davey went on to achieve her Master of Business in Finance from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
