Four Veteran Bankers Promoted Across the Dothan Market

DOTHAN, Ala. – ServisFirst Bank, a subsidiary of ServisFirst Bancshares (NYSE:SFBS), is pleased to announce the promotions of four longtime team members within its Dothan office, recognizing their leadership, dedication, and continued contributions to the bank’s growth across the Wiregrass region. The promotions include Barry DeVane to Executive Vice President, Dothan Market President; John Peacock to Executive Vice President, Senior Loan Officer; Loretta Shapiro to Senior Vice President, Treasury Management Officer; and Martin Price to Senior Vice President, Private Banking Officer.

Barry DeVane, Executive Vice President, Market President

Barry DeVane will oversee the Dothan Commercial and Private Banking segments, along with branch operations for the bank’s two Dothan locations. DeVane previously served as Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending in Dothan and joined ServisFirst Bank in 2008 to help launch the Dothan office, serving as a Commercial Lender. A native of Webb, Alabama, DeVane graduated from Houston Academy before earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Auburn University. In addition to his professional responsibilities, he remains actively involved in community leadership efforts throughout the Wiregrass region.

John Peacock, Executive Vice President, Senior Loan Officer

With more than two decades of banking experience, John Peacock will continue his commercial loan and deposit production responsibilities while helping lead the Commercial and Private Banking segments through oversight, planning, and strategic initiatives. He will also oversee the Treasury Management segment. Peacock joined ServisFirst Bank in 2013 as Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking following previous banking leadership roles. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration with a major in Finance and a minor in Economics from The University of Alabama. Peacock is involved with Covenant Methodist Church and The University of Alabama Houston-Henry County Alumni Chapter and has also served as a youth sports coach within the community. He has consistently been recognized as a ServisFirst Bank Top Producer.

Loretta Shapiro, Senior Vice President, Treasury Management Officer

Bringing nearly three decades of experience in commercial banking and treasury management solutions, Loretta Shapiro will continue leading sales and service efforts within the Treasury Management segment. Shapiro joined ServisFirst Bank in 2008 after building extensive experience in treasury management and commercial banking. A graduate of Auburn University, she has maintained involvement throughout the community, including leadership roles with Wiregrass United Way, the 334 Prevention Project, and Wiregrass Habitat for Humanity. She is also a graduate of Leadership Dothan.

Martin Price, Senior Vice President, Private Banking Officer

Having spent 18 years with ServisFirst Bank, Martin Price will continue serving clients through private banking, commercial lending, and deposit production responsibilities. Price has more than 19 years of banking experience, in addition to seven years in financial planning. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Auburn University.
