Veteran Banker, Mitch Sells, Joins Charlotte Banking Team

CHARLOTTE, NC – ServisFirst Bank, a subsidiary of ServisFirst Bancshares (NYSE:SFBS), is pleased to announce the addition of Mitch Sells as Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking Executive in Charlotte. In this role, he is responsible for expanding and managing commercial banking relationships across the Charlotte MSA. Sells will focus on delivering customized lending, deposit, and treasury management solutions designed to meet the evolving needs of small business and middle-market commercial clients.

Mitch Sells, Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking Executive

Mitch Sells joins ServisFirst Bank with more than 26 years of banking experience. He brings extensive experience in commercial banking, having held senior relationship management and leadership roles throughout his career. He has been recognized as a top-performing commercial relationship manager and has consistently delivered strong production results in lending, deposits, and treasury services. His background also includes managing large and diverse commercial portfolios and advising clients on credit structure, cash flow strategy, and capital access solutions.

In addition to his professional experience, Sells is active in the community, serving as a board member of BEFCOR (Business Expansion Funding Corporation), a U.S. Small Business Administration Certified Development Corporation based in Charlotte. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Pfeiffer University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Appalachian State University, where he studied marketing with a minor in psychology. He also completed the North Carolina Banking School in Chapel Hill.
