Founded in Birmingham (2005), ServisFirst expanded organically into Huntsville, Alabama (August 2006); Montgomery, Alabama (June 2007); Dothan, Alabama (September 2008); Pensacola, Florida (April 2011); Mobile, Alabama (July 2012); Nashville, Tennessee (April 2013); Charleston, South Carolina (January 2015); Tampa Bay, Florida (January 2016); Fairhope, Alabama (January 2017); Fort Walton, Florida (September 2018); Sarasota, Florida (August 2019); Columbus, Georgia (August 2020); Venice, Florida (January 2021); Orlando, Florida (April 2021); Panama City, Florida (March 2022); Charlotte, North Carolina (May 2022); Tallahassee, Florida (May 2022); Asheville, North Carolina (September 2022); Virginia Beach, Virginia (April 2023); Lake Norman, North Carolina (November 2023); and Memphis, Tennessee (February 2024). The Correspondent Banking division was established in March of 2011. Through the acquisition of Metro Bancshares, Inc., ServisFirst has also expanded into Atlanta, Georgia (January 2015).
